The battery for this lawnmower is 40V 5 Ah, can I use my Hart 40V 4 Ah Chainsaw battery on this lawnmower?

Is the battery interchangeable with the Ryobi 40v battery? This Hart brand seems to look almost identical to Ryobi.

I have used this twice and I am so impressed with how easy it is to push. I have back issues and this is perfect. Simple to start and easy to empty the bagger. The height adjustment is simple to use. I love how quiet it is. I highly recommend especially for woman who have trouble starting a mower and the best part is no gas or oil to contend with.

Easy to Use

Omg. I will never use another gas powered mower after using this. I am so happy I decided to get it. This is light years ahead of any gas powered mower on the market.

Battery life was going to be my only concern but I have an urban neighborhood lawn and it mowed both front and back yards with 1 battery charge and still had plenty of juice left.

The bagger works excellent.

The lock/unlock feature to allow you to store it standing up is next level! Takes up almost no space at all.

Its so much quieter than a traditional mower.

Cuts the grass just as good as anything Ive ever used.

Its so lightweight I was able to pick it up with 1 hand holy crap!

No funky gas storage and smells, just freshly cut grass smell.

Lawn mowing is no longer a chore its a joy with this amazing tool.

  I can use any of my batteries from my other hart tools as back up which is a huge bonus!

I have 0 bad things to say about this mower!

I recently received the ‘HART 40-Volt Cordless Brushless 20-inch Push Mower Kit, (1) 5.0Ah Lithium-Ion Battery’ for review purposes. The Key Features and Description of the item are spot on and after trying various HART power tools, I agree, “ALL POWER, NO GAS.” As far as I could tell between the pricing differences of this 20-inch model and the more expensive 21-inch model is the extra inch, adaptive speed, and a metal deck. This model has a plastic deck which could be problematic if you have a yard full of debris (rocks, twigs, toys etc). The features I like: easy to use out of the box with minimal assembly (no need for oil, spark plugs, or gas), adjustable height of deck, quick and easy to fold and store (compact design). Along with the 40V battery, it comes with a large ‘grass catcher’ bag and the typical ‘mulch plug’. I’m not sure why it has a ‘start key’ because if I remove the key for safe keeping more than likely I will lose it and then the mower is … out of service. Compared to our gas pull start, this mower is wonderful! It starts at the push of a button and is much quieter. Not to mention, no random trips to the gas station for a gallon of gas – just to mow. Overall, I recommend the HART 40-Volt Cordless Brushless 20-inch Push Mower Kit. It is a great addition to everyday/occasional yard work tools. I do suggest having multiple batteries if you plan to mow a large yard but the plus about HART is, “Every HART 40V battery works with every HART 40V tool.”

ALL POWER, NO GAS. – NO KIDDING

I love this mower. I am a recent widow whose husband took care of all the garden equipment though I did all the gardening. He maintained our good old mower and started it for me but now I have to do those things. Well, I can start this one easily and don't need to fuss with oil or gas.  It cuts beautifully and has never run our of energy with my small lawn.  Besides that it is as cute as a bug's ear.

I was looking for something simple like this to cut the grass. Well Brushless had developed a battery-powered mower with the convenience of no cords, no gas cans or fumes and a extremely quite motor with more power and longer life time. The battery is included with this mower and it seems to last a long time plus it's got it own storing compartment which is convenient.  The body of the mower is very attractive it reminds me of a kids motorized car but full of power. Moving the mower around was easy even when turned off .There is a single point height adjustment which is easy to adjust several different settings. Its even got lights that run in case it starts getting dark which allows you to finish your yard. The grass catcher bag was easy to assemble and install, if you want to use it Which is a option . The Battery life is great, I finished my yard on a single charge. This 20 inch mower is great for yards up to a acre. Best yet you dont have to pull a cord to start all you just is just push a button. And with Brushless technology it provides consistent power without bogging down, and extended motor life for many seasons to come. I really appreciate the folding storage design too. I recommend this 40V Brushless Push Mower Kit to all that has a small yard and the elderly so they dont have to pull on the string. My neighbors are jealous but I may share so they can see the conscience this mower is to us.

What A game Changer!!! We love ours.

This is one tough machine! It was practically already assembled. So easy. Lightweight but perfectly balanced power. Plowed right through our crab grass like it wasn't there. Even more impressive is how QUIET it is. It has 7 different heights to adjust how you want to cut your grass. The charger is a powerful one too. It also has a bag to catch clippings. Brushless absolutely perfect! I reccomend this to anyone at any age for any kind of mow job.

We live in the woods and just have patches of grass. This mower is sufficient for our needs. It has more power than you would expect. It is not very loud.
