This is an amazing machine. 
I was afraid it wouldn't cut through the jungle of a back yard that I had. I was definitely amazed at how easily it cut even the 5 ft weeds along my fence line. All at the sound of a  whisper. My son told me my vacuum cleaner is louder than this mower. And the self  purpulsion moves it along quickly with such ease! Absolutely amazing!!!

I was sick of oil and gas.  I am not a crazy climate person.  I looked at all the different options.  I decided to go with basic easy model.  I am thrilled with  purchase.  So easy to operate and store.  Battery lasted entire yard with 10 % to spare.  This is good for small medium yard 30 mins,

I love the new mower, it's very lightweight and easy to use.  I love the fact of not needing gas or oil, or pulling a cord trying to start it. It works great! The picture was after I put it together in my living room.

Battery Mower, wish I would've bought years ago!

I did my research for electric mowers and the Greenworks was one of the top electric mowers, has the self propelled, , comes with 40 volt battery with 5 AH , easy to assemble, and lightweight. 

Couple of manufacturing issues I found: when the temperature outside gets hot the compartment for the battery retains the heat from the battery. This leads to the battery getting too hot and shuts down the mower. I like the fact that it does shutdown the mower keeping the battery from starting a fire or exploding. I am considering using a frozen ice pack in the extra battery holder to keep it cool. (I would like to have seen the battery compartment set up for two batteries. 
Secondly: the pin release for the handle bars after storage is obstructed somewhat from the battery cable therefore not easily pulled out. See photo.

Overall I would purchase this mower again.

The lawnmower does a good job cutting and tge features are very nice. However, the battery life is atrocious I couldn't even mow my entire front yard (which is not all that large as i live in a sub-divison) before rhe battery was dead, after waiting for the battery to completely charge, i took a swing at the back yard which is even smaller and still ended up finishing it all with my Gas powered push mower. I own many Greenworks products and I have nothing but good things to say about them, other than battery life. on a 5.0ah battery I got maybe 20 minute's of use.

Get a gas mower instead.
