I bought this grill in March of '17 and have tried to follow the suggestions in the manual on how to use it. I have done some burgers, hot dogs, baked potatoes, chicken breasts, beer can chicken, steaks, pork loins, salmon steak and some ribs on the grill. Even the most basic....dogs, burgers, etc have much more flavor than my old gas grill.It gives me more confidence in trying other foods.

I did a brisket as my first item to cook in it.  It came out smoked perfect and tender and juicy.

My other smoker I have to open the big door to refill wood and I end up losing heat. Not with this one I fill the hopper with pellets not having to open the meat door and just let it rip. Great gift from my wife love it cant wait to try out the rest of the features .

Love to set it and forget it.

Great item!

It's a good electric pit to have but if you have bad storms a lot that's not good to have. 1 thing that we had a problem with today is that the auger feeder  clogged up. I took a flat head screwdriver and went around the edges for the pellets were and crumbling down that helped the Auger to move again. They say you can cook on it without plugging it up but I haven't tried yet so I don't know the answer to that one and this is going on 1 year and still running good. if it starts getting too hot like running around 500 Degrees, adjust the P level to a higher setting. Level 0 P level feeds the pellets faster, level 7 P level feeds two pallets slower.

Pit tips and I would recommend for a pellet pit.

Well Bought one three months ago at Walmart, and i have cooked porks ribs, chicken, pizza I think it a Great grill you put your wood pellets in you set the temperature you come bake to some of the best smoked food ever. so easy to cook with. just Awesome

GREAT PELLET GRILL

We love this smoker!  It works wonderfully and was very affordable.  Everything we cook tastes amazing and it is very comparable to high dollar smokers.

First cook on the grill I made beef spare ribs and they turned out prefect I'm very happy with the grill

Owned less than a month and already auger got blocked and sounds like the motor is clicking.  Email customer service but no reply back yet

Not at all pleased

I have used the grill 3 times and have had an issue. 
The first time I used it, it started up well and was running fine.  I like to low smoke so I have the smoker set to smoke for many hours. After 4 hours, the fire went out but the pellets kept being fed.  I restarted it, but since there were so many pellets, the temperature with the lid open exceeded 350 degrees, charring the meat.  After about 30 minutes, the temperature went back to the desired 160 range.

The 2nd time I used it, the auger had rusted shut ( I do keep the smoker on my deck with a cover on it). I disassembled the unit and was able to free up the auger. I reassembled and started it up and began using it. Once again, after a few hours the fire stopped.  I then went through the same restart as the first time.

The 3rd time I used it, the auger was functioning fine, but after 4 hours of use, the fire went out. I went and transferred the meat to my oven for the remainder.

I like making briskets and pork shoulders and allowing them to low smoke overnight. With this unit, I can not do that.  It was inexpensive so I guess you get what you pay for.
