We added this fireplace to our family room where a chimney and gas are unavailable.  It provides the ambiance we were looking for with a realistic looking flame.

Dual Voltage...

After many problems and delays in shipment, the Napoleon is installed.  It is at best ok.  The fake brick looks cheap.  The plastic logs are. also cheap looking.  The flames are of good quality.  The heater fan is very quiet but produces little heat.  I knew nothing about electric fireplaces and should have done more research.

I would not have purchased if I had it to do over.

The fan is very weak. They say it is to keep it quiet but all it does is warm your wall. I could buy a cheaper one elsewhere that blows the heat out twice as far

Weak fan

This system works great in the summer time. But, in the winter the heater and blower fault out everytime it gets below 32 degrees. I have to cycle my breakers on and off to reset the fault. Then it might work or it might not. I've called the store twice in the past 1.5 years of ownership and even drove over and asked them to fix my issue. To this day I've had ZERO response from the retail store. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER!
