Works for all colors. It's a very fine polishing compound and also has some fillers to help hide very minor scratches. You must follow this up with a wax or the fillers will disappear in a day or two.

I would think so put it on a clear coat finish.

Ultimate polish works great after using ultimate compound. It refines the finish even more. Giving your car more gloss and depth. Ultimate polish should be used every 4-6 months when it is time to repolish and rewax.

Compound is used to cut the paint to remove heavier damage and/or oxidation. If you needed compound then this polish would make a good step-2 to follow that up (followed by a step-3 wax/sealant). If you keep your paint protected and in good condition, then this polish alone may be your step-1 (followed by a step-2 wax/sealant). It does have fillers to help hide swirls and minor scratches too (a little bit).

Applied with a DA orbital buffer after wash and claying. It removed all the fine scratches left behing from the Auto car wash. Also used Meguiar s Ultimate Liquid Wax for protection.

this polish is good if your car is somewhat within 5 years old. if you have clear coat stains that are very chalky and white you will need to use a rubbing compound first before applying the Polish. but overall the Polish does bring out a shine once it's prepped right. After the Polish you can go ahead and throw a wax on it for a little more protection.

Meguiar's polish

Truck got brush scratches on both sides in this hunting season. Took some time, but looks new. Helpful advice, when it dries while working in, spray a little water.

Brings paint back to life

This product is part of a 5 step process. It is amazing! My car look better than new. I used it with a DA Polisher and foam pads. I did the following: all the products are made by Meguiar's and Walmart them for the best price!
1. Ultimate Car wash
2. Clay Bar Kit
3. Ultimate Compound
4. Ultimate Polish
5. Ultimate Liquid Wax

Truly Incredible Product!!!

Used it on a car that is 15 years old which had never been polished but car was already in good shape. Applied the polish using a polisher which made the car much shiner and probably closer to what the car looked like new, I think it went from good to great. Would recommend to anyone.

Very good product

I used this with a Harbor Freight Dual Action 6" polisher & pads (Lake Country 5.5 backing plate). With the blue polishing pad it has completely restored amazing shine & luster to my 15 year old oxidized Earl Scheib 1-stage enamel paint job. Darkens/richens the paint color by leaving polishing oils behind (conditions paint too). The only thing that could make this product better was if it could magically remove dents too. lol

Fantastic Meguiars product

Didn't work on my REALLY BAD water spots.  Had to use Ultimate Compound. Finished the hood, looks great.  Might not need the polish.  This is a daily driver, not a show car.  For a 1996 Ford, it's impressive.

Meguirs Ultimate Polish

This polish worked well for my clean car before applying Zymol wax. It was easier to use than the Meguiar's Deep Crystal System polish I used before, but it does not smell quite so good as Zymol HD Clense.

Received a broken bottle and the polish had leaked throughout the box.
