My mom came over for the holiday and cooked up a great feast. When I tell you the vent on this microwave is like no other. It wiped that smell out of there. Thank goodness I was able to enjoy dinner with my family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently put new cabinets in. I chose this Amana microwave. (I have their Glass top stove that is great too). The instructions and cardboard cut out on side of the box for hole placements were straight forward. If your a diy'er just make sure to use rigid 6" vent piping if you are venting outside. Some you tube videos use flex vent which is not code. Also 6" will give you optimum flow with 300cfm do not use 4". 
  I'm very happy with the microwave. The install went smoothly. I would definetly recommend this to anyone looking for a replacement or new install!
