I have now had my THOR for two months and I still can't believe what a difference there is from my old range.  The burners are much more even heating and so quick to heat.  The grating is so solid no matter what size pot you place on them.  Now let's talk about the oven.  The preheating is quick and the racks are easy to change on the fly.  The convection feature is so awesome it makes a novice chef look like a seasoned PRO.
Everything I have baked finishes looking like it should be featured in a cookbook.  The best thing is my favorite "Take & Bake Pizzas" turn out like a stone oven pizzeria would serve!
I knew that it was a greater amount of money when I bought it, but every time I use it reminds me that I made the perfect decision!   THOR hit it out of the park with this unit...

Never Had It So Good!

My wife is a fantastic cook and is amazed with this range. The cooktop displaces heat so evenly in comparison to our Samsung it makes cooking a joy. The grates are heavy duty, the broiler, which we used last night to cook a steak, is also so easy to clean compared to the old one. Best of all, no electronics to fail, which I've had to repair on both our previous ranges.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did a lot of research on many different brands…I wanted a no frills range - no circuit boards or Wi-Fi/smart anything! Was a bit leery of some of the reviews about Thor, but the more I read the more it looked like the issues ppl were having were due to lack of reading the manual and understanding their piece of equipment…first of all I absolutely love the way this range looks AND feels. It's gorgeous and heavy duty- it  feels very high quality. The burners are legit!! Amazing flame and very even cooking! I used a brand new oven thermometer and the heat temperature was accurate…it baked my homemade crackers beautifully even and consistent, bake after bake! There was an issue with the oven's telescoping shelves/racks - I emailed customer service and got a response within a couple of hours- new shelves were on the way after sufficient info was provided by me. Customer was excellent and quick! Prior to my purchase I had some questions and customer service was thorough in their answers. I am very pleased with my purchase! Now we just need to take the plunge and replace the hood!

I JUST PURCHASED MY THOR RANGE - I INSTALLED IT THE SAME DAY I COOKED FOR 35 PEOPLE NEW YEARS EVE! I HAD BEEN LOOKING FOR A PROFESSIONAL HOME STOVE TO COOK ON FOR SEVERAL MONTHS - WHEN I SAW THE EASY MAKE SENSE COOKING STOVE WITHOUT ALL THE ELECTRONIC SENSORS THAT BREAK DOWN AFTER A FEW YEARS, I KNEW IT WAS WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. THE LAYOUT AND DESIGN WAS PERFECT FOR LARGE COOKING PANS, THE SLOW COOK BURNER IN THE BACK WAS PERFECT HEAT TO KEEP MY SOUP WARM. THE CONVECTION OVEN COOKED MY PIES PERFECTLY, AND BUT WHAT I LIKED MOST WAS THE CONSISTENCY OF THE BURNERS. THANK YOU THOR FOR CREATING THE PERFECT CULINARY STOVE/RANGE. ALL MY FRIENDS ARE JEALOUS!

Had our first chance to broil and we noticed immediately how rapidly the elements broil to temperature hot enough to quickly sear the food. Impressed with the simplicity of controls.  Having to use the microwave's settings for timers and cook time etc as this one has no electronics panel which may wind up being a blessing.
