No.  It does not fold.  You tilt it forward from the front and pull it to another location by backing up.  It needs to be balanced so it stays on its wheels as you pull it along.  It has small wheels up front which are used for moving.  They are Ok on floors, difficult on carpet.

Is it quiet enough for an apartment?

Love it it's so quite and easy to use compared to the golds gym which I bought and was so loud and squeaky and to top  it off you had unlock it through iFit which sucked.  I highly recommend this elliptical so easy to use and very quiet

Quiet elliptical and easy to use

So it took me hours to put it together and the directions were horrible!! That said I finally got it together and jumped on. Let's just say within 2 minutes I quit. I think it's going to be great and I know I have to be patient as I'm just starting out. I hope in time I can do a full workout on it. I was able to do 30-45 minutes on my treadmill, but was getting bored with that. This is very quiet, smooth, and easy to move around.

Holy what did I do?

This elliptical machine is well worth the money so easy to use so easy to fit in the house.

Well, I cheated and my son put it together for me.  It took him about an hour and a half or so-he is pretty handy with assembling things but didn't have any real problems.  I few things not too clear but he figured it out.  As for how well it works-GREAT.  It is quiet,  it is smooth and I love it.  As I sit here at work with my aching thighs, lol, I can absolutely say it is a great work out.  I am on the short side,  (I'm around 5'4"), but, my 6'3" son seems to like using it, too and hasn't complained about the stride length.  Glad I bought it and I love it.  Also arrived several days before the promised delivery date.

Great machine for the price

Easy to put together. Not very comfortable to use. I wouldn't recommend for everyday use. Maybe a good fit for children to use.

Will work for temporary use.

The programs on the machine is nice but the resistance feels heavier and dont like that you cant adjust the resistance when in program mode. It would been nice if it came with a built in fan and an attachment to  hold a phone.

Assembly:
1.  Instructions almost useless.  Small diagrams, not entirely accurate.
2.  Hardware all over.  Some in a box as expected, some wrapped with parts, some rolling on the floor as I opened the box.
3.  Partially assembled.  Not as described in the instructions and requiring a little examination and thought as well as a couple tools you hope you have (though the enclosed ones work).

Use:
1.  Stride is OK. 14" vs 18" in the big expensive machines.  At 6'1", I still get a good workout using it on off days for 20-30 minutes.
2.  Instrument panel is OK.  Several pre-set workouts, you adjust level and time.  Adjusts on the fly.
3.  Build is solid.  At 205 pounds I feel no wobble or loss of balance.
4.  It is quiet.  If I lean back it squeaks but if my form is good it is very quiet.

I love that the elliptical has programs on it that can be adjusted if need be.  I love the material it is made of.  
I do not like the fact that it wobbles and squeaks really bad.  I adjusted the feet but it still tends to wobble some.  I think the legs or feet need to be longer on this machine.

instructions are hard to read, easier to go off the pictures.  isn't very stable during the work out. stride isn't long like a gym quality one is. better off buying a better quality one

instructions are literally terrible to follow. the right leg flew off mid-workout and wouldnt stay on. it was like the screw wasnt threaded enough. my husband had to go and buy loctite and it seems to be okay but I'm hesitant to use
