Compared to our old washer which was broken recently, I especially like the option that it can determine the water level automatically based on the amount of cloth load.

Great features in my new Maytag!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought this washer to match my Maytag dryer.  Love the setting and the design of this model.  With glass door on top I can see what it's doing.  The easy settting and functions of washer mode made it easy for everyone in my family to use.  Clothes are clean after wash and takes about an hour. Definitely recommend to anyone that want a stylist and easy to use washer.

Stylist and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As title said this Maytag is an upgrade. An upgrade that still works however, the agitator has started to wear fabrics. With that said I went for this Maytag because I grew up knowing Maytag is the best in washers / dryers. Second reason is that this washer has a small agitator; my hopes is that it will not do what my old one did with time,
I would like to knock off one star, but it wouldn't be fair to Maytag, they design what people want "today". The "Sense" feature is aggravating to an old fuddy-duddy like me; there are times when I need to wash a small load, BUT on a full load, can't do this with the "sense" feature. As far as I know there isn't a soak feature on this washer, but by simply pausing the cycle the lid will unlock and whatever cycle it is on will also cease, so one can soak the laundry.

*I lied in the video: I do use the dispensing tray - I didn't trust it to do as well as I do manually, but it does!*

It might be a little too quiet; again technology trying this old fuddy-duddy. With the old dinosaur I had prior I could hear it clank and shift when changing from wash to rinse, knowing when to get up and add my fabric softener. This washer does this for you however, there are some items I like to add fabric softener while the rinse water is running taking care to get the softener on everything and pulling the laundry upwards so that I know the softener gets to the bottom of the tub. Sometimes after clothes have been washed one can go from a large load to a medium load to use less softener, the "sense" feature doesn't allow this.

This washer indeed gets the laundry CLEAN! It dispenses the fabric softener well! I love the lid! No more CLANG when closing the lid being that this lid is on a hydraulic lift; heavy-ish and quiet.

The tub on this washer is HUGE! Easily fit a California king comforter in it! Not exaggerating. Even with my complaint in regards to the "Sense" feature which many modern washers have today, I have nothing negative to say about this Maytag washer - nothing! It does what it says it will do with no fuss .After 50 some years I STILL trust Maytag!

Upgrade from 18 Year Old Washer

My previous washing machine was a Maytag and it was great. Had it for about 20 years with next to no issues. Love Maytag

Overall good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far it has been an excellent experience with this new washer. More than enough room for a full load of laundry in our family of 4 for sure, though I have yet to try a truly bulky item like a comforter in it yet, it hardly seems half full when washing our full loads that we seemed to barely squeeze into our old front load washer.  I only gave 4 stars because we've only had it for about 2 weeks so haven't had a chance to get fully acquainted with the new machine so maybe we'll find as we go along it isn't as great as we first thought. For now, it's been a wonderful experience so far and does a wonderful job getting everything clean we've thrown at it so far....

excellent cleaning machine for your buck

So far it seems like a great washer, lots of room, fits my king size comforter with room to spare. Does a great job cleaning the laundry. It's a little louder than my previous washer, but noting crazy.

By far the worst washing machine I have ever owned. It does not clean clothes as evidenced by dry spots on them after a complete wash cycle and there is always white lint-like stuff left on the clothes and I have to run them through a second rinse and spin cycle to get as much of it off as I can. Then I have to remove the rest with a damp cloth after the clothes have dried. This even immediately after I run a "Clean with Afresh" cycle. I have had this machine for about 5 years and it has always been bad but is just getting worse. Kicking myself for not doing something about it sooner. Will be looking at a different brand as soon as I can afford to purchase a new one.

Worst Washer I have ever owned

Don't not buy this product. I don't know what has happened to Maytag quality, but this is a piece of junk. It always is out of balance, the clothes are still dry during the wash cycle because the water level is so low, it rips clothing apart, soap left in clothing. I don't know how this passed quality control. Absolutely horrible piece of crap!!
