I bought this 3 weeks ago to replace my original LG washer that we bought 15 years ago. I'm glad we stuck with LG. This washer is much more quiet than the first one and it seems to get the clothes much more dry before going into the dryer. This was an excellent choice.

Great washer for the money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received my new Washer On Jan. 14th. My children bought me for Christmas. My husband made this suggestion. As I was having trouble getting clothes out of my present machine, which was getting older just like me, it was big one very deep for this old lady. But she had been a good one. He even bought me a grabber but have you ever tried to pick up a wet towel with a grabber. It wasn't  pretty. Got a front loader with pedestals and I love it. I don't fall in any more when getting my clothes out.

At first I was skeptical about purchasing a washer from Walmart because sometimes it's not always what it seems to be online. 
Shortly after buying this washer I received a text message from someone who works with the company  which I also thought was weird because I try to be aware of scammers. (It was legit though.) The communication was top board for me! They let me know as soon as they'll be available to deliver the washer which is within one week of buying it. Fast service and delivery was also amazing! I believe the delivery guys names were Ronaldo and Eric. They were both very helpful installing it for me. One things that's not mentioned when purchasing with this company is that they install for FREE and they also haul away your old washer for FREE. I was panicking the whole week because I didn't know what I was going to be about the old washer. So I'm very happy with this company! If I ever get a new dryer I'll definitely consider buying from them again! Thank you so much!

AMAZING SERVICE!

Purchased the LG WM3400CW over a month ago. After more than twenty loads, we can say three things: The unit is incredibly quiet, uses minute amounts of both water and power, and not only gets our work clothes very clean but nearly dry on high spin. Since we only line-dry our clothes, the high spin gets them nearly dry. They are drying in less than half the time from previous washer. Very, very pleased. Our favorite aspect of the washer is that it draws only 680W maximum off our pure-sine inverter - that is amazing! 
Instrumentation is easy to read and intuitive. Easily dried and drained, eliminating any possibility of damp odors. We (couple in their 70's) dollied it through the woods to our house, and installation was a breeze, especially with the accompanying tools.
Should have punched this model earlier.

Superb Off-grid Washing Machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer has all the features and cycles that I'm likely to use, except for the "Drain and Spin" cycle which I used once or twice in the 20 years I had my previous LG washer. The washer has same direct drive motor and warranty as the other, more expensive models with cycles and features I never used on my previous washer. 

About the only downside is the short used (waste) water hose. I had to add about 1.5 feet to that the my installation (much easier than opening the back and completely replacing the house with a longer one. This was not a problem for me but something that might be an issue for others who don't have their washer placed essentially DIRECTLY in front of the house drain pipe.

Washer with All the Essentials

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems noisy in comparison to my last machine. Cycles seem to last a long time, so not sure how energy efficient this machine is!

Easy to figure out

Already submitted a review but why not another, maybe it will make it more visible.  Overall a very good washer with one serious defect.  2 years after purchase -- not even a few months after the warranty expired -- the drain pump failed.  Apparently this is a known issue with LG washers.  

Meanwhile my previous washing machines kept ticking for two or three *decades* without serious issue.  So I don't know what defective design LG came up with for this part but it would be nice if they'd fix it.  

Also the drain hose design is terrible.  In case you don't know, there's a small hose behind a panel in the lower left of the front of the machine.  If you remove the plug from this hose, it should drain the water from the tub.  It does, but *very* slowly, like drip drip drip.  If you want the water to come out faster, remove the filter that's to the right of the hose.  Put lots of towels down because water will splash everywhere.  No idea why the designated part doesn't work this away -- again, shoddy design.

Great washer with some serious flaws you must know

I purchased my new washer in 25-Nov-2023 and noticed a couple small dents on lower right side of machine. The first couple times I used it I noticed a small puddle of water on floor in basement as there was a drilled hole in floor for dryer gas line directly behind washer. When I investigated further i found a small puddle of water at rear of machine. I determined it was coming from the drain filter at the front of the machine. The filter basket wasn't completely installed all the way in so where the basket wasn't sealing properly. Since then the machine hasn't leaked and is working fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this machine Sep 2022 but didn't use it until Jan 2023. Only 2-3 regular loads each month but at end of April the gasket was worn out and broke on 4 sections which created & left many grey rubber/plastic tiny pieces all over the inside machine and on my laundry. I had to vacuum all those rubber/plastic pieces out. The LG service guy was nice, however the way to firm a gasket looks questionable. Also it shows how bad quality LG's paintings on their machines. It's effortless to leave scratches on LG's white painting surface. A very unpleasant & disappointed experience, especially due to a such short using time.
