We purchased the washer and dryer to replace an older / smaller capacity set.  The units clean better and use less water and less time.  They even send text messages advising they are done.  I was concerned initially due to having a smaller laundry area however the units fit perfectly and were close to the same exterior sizes of the older smaller capacity units.

I can't be happier with my LG wifi washer!! After my awful GE never put out any water or really cleaned without soaking for hours!! I was very careful for my next washer, I read a lot of reviews and ask my friends what they have, so decided to try 5 cu ft LG 7300CW which is large enough so I don't have to bring my cal king comforters outside to wash!
This washer is amazing, it did takes me a while to figured out how to use this digital board and wifi feature was sweet remind the load is done.
I washed all the bedding over the weekend and no problem on king comforter the water was covering to the top which was great and very happy with this machine.

Finally Found My Dream Washer!

We have had this for  2-1/2 years and have never been able for it to connect to WIFI or enable the “smart” feature. 
If you are buying because of these features , save your money.
A LG rep installed it in two different houses in 2 different States and has had the same issues.

It actually works great.   I've done many loads over the last few weeks and have been happy with the results.   The only problem is the Control Panel overlay is from a more expensive washer.   It has the correct 8 positions but the overlay shows 12 options.

Would give 0 stars if that was an option. This washer is and has been garbage since the very beginning but we didn't have a way to get it back to the store to return it. The only usable cycles are “Delicate” and “Bedding,” otherwise the drum just about jumps out of the machine. It shakes violently and that's before and after it has rebalanced. The door later begins to crack and break apart.

I cant even begin to say how many reasons why...
Its only 2 yrs old and I was happy maybe a yr in..
Since when is speed wash 45 minutes.. Hated that from day one.. 
Its always something. Stops at any giving moment and wants to wash for another 20 minutes.. I dont have 1 hour and a half to wash a load of laundry..  The only thing I can do when I stop or pause is Oh its gonna start all over again.. There's another 45 minutes wasted.. You get what you pay for I guess.  I will never make this mistake again, nor will my clothing or husband!!!!

No great features..

If I could give a negative five stars, I would. We purchased this particular unit in July 2019 and began experiencing issues with it in September 2019. Eventually, the washer became inoperable in October.  We started receiving error messages; the washer wouldn't spin and drain properly. So we contacted customer service to have a technician come out and evaluate the machine. He came out a week later to inform us the motor had gone entirely out. He told us that he would order the part and it should be delivered to our home within two days. So after four days, we contacted customer service again to follow up, we were then told that the part was back-ordered and would not be shipped until late November! We have been inconvenienced since October without having a washer.

Highly Disappointed

Unfortunately at this time I can't leave a positive review because it is lacking refinement and functionality in several areas. The washing plate it is a unfinished project and acts like a  gunk filter and gunk magnet. It needs major improvement or a new better design. Recently I replaced this part with an updated LG wash plate with the backing partially skeletonized. This one it is a step further but not good enough. I'm working myself on retrofitting the original plate with even more open surfaces to facilitate gunk to evacuate easier and not to build up and contaminate our clothes. It is difficult to take wash plate and the washer top apart. The wash plate cap clips in 3 thin tabs which needs to bend 90 degrees in and out at each wash plate disassembly and reassembly. It looks like it won't last many removals. With the present design it needs a thorough deep clean monthly by taking apart the wash plate and tub, manually cleaning and scrubbing, steps not specified in the owner manual. Regular monthly tub clean cycles can't keep up with the amount of gunk buildup in the washer plate and surrounding areas. The drain pump it is not strong enough to siphon out the loose gunk during and after tub clean, rinse and spin cycle. Gunk is floating in the tub contaminating clothes.
I can't wait to see this issues solved sooner than later to be able to leave a honest positive review.

After just under 2 years with a competitors washer it did the same. Had to buy a new one a the LG lasted 13 months, Good thing I purchased a warranty this time. What happen to the quality of appliances Mom and Dads would last 20 years.
