We are new to gas range stoves but this one is pretty awesome! It is easy to light and cooks very evenly. So far so good.

First, let me say, if you are switching the stove over to liquid propane, then it will be a lengthy process. Allow yourself at least a morning or an afternoon to complete the seven required changes. The anti- tip bracket is also a good idea if you will ever have children near your stove. Time is required for its installation plus the routing of a new gas line if necessary.
     After the lengthy set up time, my wife was well pleased with the finished product! She said the oven temperature was spot on checked with a thermometer. The oven door does not get hot due to the insulated window. Furthermore, the heavy duty burner grates are much better than other stove models with lighter duty grates. All in all, every feature works great!

Performs as it should!

It bakes so beautifully!  I first made a meatloaf and then lemon brownies and they were great!  The directions are very easy to follow and the oven heats evenly and cools quickly.  It is a beautiful appliance.  I did a comparison before ordering it so I could get all the amenities offered with it and I love it!

My first one I ever bought for myself!

Nice oven/stove. Big interior, love the storage drawer bottom and having the broiler inside the oven. Easy to read display and controls. Happy with this purchase. Our last GE oven lasted 27.5 years, so we are sticking with GE!

I had my last stove for over 20 years and I was afraid it might be hard to get used to a new one...but nope very simple and I am enjoying my new GE stove

My new stove

I wanted a simple Range that you could clean really easy since I cook a lot. This range cooks fast, the oven temp is right on and its easy to clean. It is the same one that was here for 17 years. The only problem I have with it is that the grates black comes off in dots like its painted or something and its always coming off. I have only cooked in the oven twice and it spilled a tiny something on the bottom of the oven and its not coming off when I tried cleaning it by hand as soon as I saw it. This is why I gave it only 4 stars. No manual unless you want to print it out and its like 75 pages so it would take up all of your ink. They just don't make things like they used to. I have only owned this for 2 weeks and I hope it lasts like my other one. I also wished I would have keep my gray grates from my stove since they are the same.

GE Range

Most of stove looks fine but there is a big unattractive gap between surface and back panel that I didn’t like at all.  Some kind of shiney insulating material was quite visible.  Luckily for me the store where stove was purchased agreed to take it back
