I bought the 1.1 Hamilton but it was too big, bought this 0.9 900 watts and its powerful. Took 1 min to heat up a leftover plate, I figured because its new the power mechanism is there,  and like most things after months -years it will depreciate on how it works.  Defrost time is awesome as well. i usually get the 1.0 cu ft/1100 watt version, but this one was on sale online so i decided to go with it instead. while the power downgrade is a little disappointing, i do really like that this microwave has little legs that elevate it off the countertop! big downside is that its loud. i don't understand why it's so much louder than a more powerful microwave. it's something i can totally live with but it was a little surprising the first time i used it.

Arrived in damaged box. Microwave was filthy on front, looked used. No instruction manual. I tried heating a mug of water and after 2.5 minutes it was just as cold as it was when it came out of faucet

this thing died after 6 1/2 months.  the only way to return is to the store.  they want it in a box (who saves a box for over 6 months).  i can hardly carry it from kitchen to living room, how am i supposed to box it in something, carry it to car and into store.  DO NOT BUY THIS!!!
