This is one of the few remaining food processors that has the original "one moving part" direct drive induction motor design that made Cuisinart food processors famous. There is only one moving part. I'm serious. The blades and slicing discs attach directly to the motor shaft. Since this is not a "brush type" motor, it is very quiet. And the motor occupies almost the entire base of the appliance. Since there are no brushes to wear out, these food processors last until the Lexan bowl or the safety/pulse/off switches fail. The motor will never quit.

I just switched to an old vegan diet. I have never enjoyed celery in my life. It takes seconds to mince the celery with one press of the thumb and I find that it's incredibly flavorful and delicious now! In fact I'm eating more vegetables and ever becauseThe flavor is multiplied by four as a result of being minced in this great machine. It is fantastically easy to use incredibly easy to clean and I am enjoying preparing all these vegetables and making my version of couscous etc.

I asked for the food processor for Christmas. This replaced my old one that I have had for 44 years. The old one’s blades began to get dull. I have already sliced potatoes beautifully and made a coldslaw with ease. I would recommend it highly.

Quality Product Which Makes Cooking Fun

After more than a decade of weekly use, I finally wore out the food chute for my 14 cup food processor. Before panic set in, a replacement unit was received and I breathed easier!  The motor and work bowl remains in good working order. This is a well designed kitchen tool that will serve you well when processing even the most difficult culinary tasks.

CAN'T DO WITHOUT MY CUISINART FOOD PROCESSOR

We started a plant-based lifestyle and realized quickly that we needed a 14 cup capacity processor!  My mom had this Cuisinart in the 80's and used it frequently.   So I knew Cuisinart was the way to go & we are happy with that decision!

Plant-based family loves this Cuisinart!

We received a Cuisinart food processor as a wedding gift...in 1977. It lasted until last month, and would have kept going except that it outlasted the supply of parts needed to repair it.  So, we ordered this one. I do not expect to be able to testify about its comparative longevity, but the "new" way the blades and bowl attach is a huge improvement and allow it to store more compactly.  It is sleeker and more modern-looking.  Most important, it works.  In the end, that is what is important.

I don't expect to buy this again.

I've had many food processors in the past and loved all of them for specific reasons. I love my Cuisinart for all the reasons combined, so am very happy with my purchase. My only wish is that there were an even larger feed tube for slicing large whole tomatoes or larger potatoes for fries. Other than that one thing, I am very satisfied with my purchase and look forward to working with my food processor for many years.

Easy to use and clean!

We bought this in December of 2018, so we have had it almost a month now. I have to say, this is a replacement of another food processor that we owned for years and we were not satisfied with.
I was watching a You-Tube video and the chef was using a Cuisinart 14 cup food processor.  I was wowed by it. 
We bought this 14 cup food processor in December of 2018 and we both agree this is the best food processor we have ever owned in our 25 years of marriage. I watched the videos on how to use it and learned all I could about this machine. I am here to testify this machine is Awesome! It chops, slices and grates with ease. I don't use a knife to chop anything anymore, This machine is fast and efficient and extremely easy to use. Two buttons, you have an On and a Pulse. When you operate it with just the On button, you can add fluids by pouring them into the small chute and the fluid will flow down onto you food and mixes it with ease. When you chop using the pulse button, we are talking seconds to chop an onion, tomato or any other vegetable. We have made so many meals using this machine  it has cut down our prep time. It is fun to use. The slicer and grater are very fast as well. I can not say enough good things about this machine. For the money it is clearly the best product we have purchased. Easy to clean and easy to extract whatever vegetable / seeds your working with. It comes with a spatula, two blades, 1 for slicing and 1 for grating, and a chopper blade. All of these are very. sharp! We have made many different sauces, salads, guacamole, and more. It is heavy so it does not bounce around when you us it. Since we have purchased this food processor we purchased an extra 14 cup container for use and a blade holder. We are all in with this machine and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good food processor. It is used everyday. I am looking forward to many years of service with this machine. We are definitely happy with this processor.

Best Food Processor We Have Ever Owned

The machine will not turn on if the container is not line up correctly.  The last part “plunger” thing that push food in, must be inserted so the metal bar goes into the container's mechanism or the machine won't turn on.  It was not mentioned anywhere in the instructions so we thought we had a dud.  The machine does what it advertises to do.  Grounding chicken was a breeze, making slices of lemons were quite easy and quick.  We bought this in July,  used it 3-4 times so far, so couldn't speak about longevity.

Great at what it does.  Need better instructions
