Very quiet. I got this plug in model because managing all my wireless items that aren't used everyday is a battery charging chore roulette. The soft and scrubby pads are both still pretty soft, so I ordered some aftermarket scrubber pads that are hopefully more aggressive. I am using this on the kitchen: it is thin plank, but wide gap floors that builders use, and they are sealed well, so I really turn on the spray when I use this thing, but the pads could be rougher to deal with scuff marks, etc.Very quiet.
