Price

Messed up the first one. Then followed directions to a T.  About half a twist and then pull. Since then, never had a problem. I prefer these over a normal pen. The depth is perfect everytime and less pain than a pen. You do have to be firm when pressing down to stick your finger. And once the lancet has been released, it can't be reset to try again.

These are much more convenient than the lancets. Quick and easy.

Not worth the trouble.  They are bulky so you can only carry so many with you.  Unless I was doing it wrong you have to press it very hard against your finger to activate the lance and I have to use a thicker gauge lance anyway so it wasn't any less painful than the traditional device.

I wouldn't waste my money.

OUCH!!!  This 25 gauge hurts leaving my finger painful for hours.  Plus… I bleed and bleed and bleed.  The green 30 gauge is not painful nor do I bleed excessively.
