This fast, easy-to-use Eldon Home Kit 2511 with Instructions (Single) contains everything required to determine blood group and RH factor using a whole blood sample obtained from a finger prick. Instructions

Understanding

If you take your time and read the instructions carefully, you should get accurate results. Do NOT TOUCH THE CARD MORE THAN NECESSARY. DO NOT TOUCH THE CIRCLES. You have to keep in mind that this is sterile and if you touch things too much you will contaminate the results.

The Lancet does hurt more than a Lancet used for checking blood sugar because the needle is bigger. If you don't bleed much, have extras on hand because you do need a good amount of blood.

Take your time interpreting the results, too.

I'm A+

Order took 2 times estimated delivery time to arrive. Had to psych myself up to draw my own blood. Got enough the first stab and got results pretty quickly. Haven't confirmed them with a Dr, but it's enough to get my wife off my tail about making sure I was also negative so she doesn't need an extra shot. 10/10 would recommend since it costs less than most co-pays.

Painfully Happy

This worked perfectly. And gave us accurate results. (We already knew our blood type) but one of our parties did not so we did it all together. 

My 15 year old did hers herself. Easy. Any bad reviews are user error.

Accurate and easy to use.

This kit worked well. I was awkward at squeezing blood drops out of my finger, but the test worked fine. Theres also on-line videos to guide you on UTube, etc.

Glad to use this product.

Well it works. The Eldon sticks used to collect the blood were not easy to use for me because I'm on an anticoagulant.  I ordered a couple of kits as I wasn't sure if I did it right but I must have as both the first and second tests revealed blood type A 

For me I felt unsure if I was seeing the aggregate for blood type A in the first circle or blood type O

Easy enough to use

The kit and tutorial video were great, but we ordered multiple kits and all of the safety lancets were defective. The only way to access the lancet was to break the safety cover because they would not protrude past the safety cover.

Just one teeny little problem...both lancets did not work.  No blood...no test results.  I followed the instructions and pulled out the yellow tab to activate the lancet.  Something felt wrong cause I'm a big dude and I had to use pliers.  As you can see in the picture, this left the lancet with the cutter hanging out the bottom.  I jabbed my finger a few times but couldn't get enough blood to really do the test.  So, I got a sore finger and no test results.  Beware lancets that don't work.
