Package arrived in good condition. Took around an hour to fix with my 10 ur old daughter helping me out. Screws aligned well and split is hardly noticeable. Ball does start deflected occasionally when it hits the center. Bounce is good and table feels good with even bounce all over. Overall very good for the price and that it is easily foldable and stays in my living room without occupying much space.

Great table for the price with compact footprint.

The tennis table is great...very well made, but the instructions for assembly are awful. The images are too small to figure out what is going on and two of the brackets that attach the legs to the table have a central groove that requires they be installed in a particular direction. This is not visible in the images nor discussed in the directions. The pre-drilled holes in the underside of the table often do not match the holes in the curtains and other pieces. It will take twice as long to assemble the table as you might otherwise expect.

Great Table but Lousy Assembly Instructions

Poor quality control and workmanship. One of the quarter panels had a factory defect. Factory refused to replace it, said its not possible. Many predrilled holes for screws didnt fit the hardware. Delivery was late and packaging was beaten- up badly

You get what you've paid for

Aarived Damage

Absolutely terrible product. It snapped apart the first time we tried to fold it up. The holes don't line up. It took two hours to assemble. We played for one hour. Then it broke. Then we spent another hour disassembling it. Turned out to be a very expensive one-time ping-pong game. Avoid this table like the plague.

This is JUNK.  We spent hours putting this together, had to correct some of the holes that were not aligned correctly from the manufacturer,  only to have it not even hold together properly when we put it up.  Also, some pieces were damaged when we received.  We thought it might be ok, but it's a crooked,  junky mess.

Don't waste your time!!

This came damaged, and was dropped in our walkway when delivered. There is a lot to the assembly!

Very cheap! After we tried to fold the table it broke. Now it's too dangerous to keep and too much of a fuss to return. Throwing away!

Don't waste your money!

Joola Champ Essential included no instructions because it was never planned to ship an item this unassembled. This Walmart Model was a DIY project that took many, many hours and had missing parts as well as extra parts. The holes did not all line up with the plastic edges making it a cumbersome 2-person project. The Joola web site had no such model listed and no assembly instructions to download.  If it were not for a Youtube video by a man from India it could not have been assembled at all. Once assembled it appeared to be solid and in good working order. This is official size and is therefore very large. I have played ping-pong off and on for 35 years and this is equal to the largest tables I have ever played and is considered an indoor model.  Although it folds for storage it does require a lot of space, both folded and unfolded.  I may end up keeping this on a covered patio for this reason.

Assembly was a Nightmare

Our unit had a defective part that failed while putting it together.  The support that failed holds the bottom sides together and is required to collapse the sides to an upright position.  See Pics.  I contacted and have been working with Joola to get a replacement since we received this as a gift in December 2020. As of today June 2021, we still do not have the replacement part!  That means we are not able to stand the unit up for storage and it is taking up allow of space in our basement. Joola has been cooperative and pictures were provided to show the part required but they have not been able to provide it.

Part Broke on Assembly 6 Months Later No Part

This  is a big heavy table., but well worth the price.  I love, love, love this table.  It took my husband about 2 hours to put together. The side coverings are plastic and cheap and break if you put too much pressure on it. Other than that, we are enjoying it.  Oh , make sure you have plenty of room. This table is big.
