This was my first workout dvd and i am already familiar with yoga. It takes one or two times before your body gets used to the rhythm but it will make you breathe! My heart is always pumping by the end of the workout and im only on level 1. I bought a traditional yoga dvd as well because i enjoy traditional yoga but this dvd makes working out fun. So i use both weekly. Warning to those new to working out be careful of your grip because you will be using your arms to hold your weight.

Awesome savings

Overall, a good total body workout that both strengthens muscles and burns fat.

Word to the wise - KNOW YOUR LIMIT!! This is not a traditional yoga workout, and even Level 1 is quite intense. (I've had to take a handful of breaks within 30 minutes!) I was sore after the first day, but it felt good :)

I hurt my knees running, so I needed an alternative workout. I thought I might take a stab at yoga for something different. I've done yoga once before and it moved too slow for me. I read the description on this DVD and thought it was perfect.

Great for anyone that wants an overall great workout; to combine cardio with muscle toning.

Not recommended for: people looking to do yoga for relaxation

Amazing Workout

I had used Jillian's Power Yoga Level 1 via YouTube a few times and when I got the DVD I did the Level 2 workout it was very challenging! The moves are great, burn the legs and provides benefits with balance and strength! The Abs/Core portion of it is very challenging too!

Jillian Power Yoga Definitely a Challenge!

I guess you shouldn't expect anything less from Jillian. I am already feeling and seeing results in 2 weeks. I am still level one and will be awhile. I alternate this with another more relaxed type yoga tape also. Don't expect to be able to relax in this tape, but its not that difficult at least on level one for a beginner. Its worth the price. More like power yoga without all the crazy poses no one can do but expert yoga students.

Is Tough..

Love this video! I've really enjoyed this workout. Another winner from Jillian Michaels. If you have had moderate yoga experience, you may find Level 1 a bit easy.

I think Jillian is great but keep in mind it's Jillian and even the beginner is hard. It's a good yoga dvd but she likes to throw in push ups and the like with her yoga to burn the calories. So if you are looking for plain yoga this is not for you. Its yoga extreme.

Very good work out routine with Jillian Michaels. Yoga mixed with cardio. My thighs were sore the next day so it does work if you're dedicated to exercising regularly.

Worth the money

I know that Julian is tough, but I love her! However, this video seemed to be some really intense yoga. I only played the beginner yoga session and it was so hard that I could only do about 10 minutes. IT IS TOUGH, just like Jillian. It was a lot about strength. It seemed like more than just a normal yoga workout.

This is a little more than yoga

This workout DVD is definitely more demanding than the usual "relaxation" type yoga DVD but not as demanding as Jillian's other workouts. I wouldn't expect to loose weight with this DVD, but its a good balance between relaxing and energizing. I am disappointed though that in the cool down portion Jillian doesn't explore more yoga type stretches.
