The Ozark Trail 14-Person 18 ft. x 18 ft. Family Tent with 3 Doors is designed to comfortably sleep 14 people in sleeping bags.  Please note, you may require additional storage for gear in order for all 14 people to be comfortable.  Alternatively, you may wish to sleep fewer people in the tent if they would like to store their gear with them.  If your campers are sleeping on cots or air beds, you will need to allow for the added square footage those items take up, which may further reduce the number of people who can comfortably sleep in this tent.

This was really REALLY easy to put up it has high ceiling and it very spacey it has plenty of room for you and your family to sleep in with sleeping beds plus a enough room to store your other gear this has 4 window 2 big widow and 2 small one !two on each side and it even if it fit 14 a small group will be real comfortable with that extra space and if you wanted to live in this period this would be ideal we have tents city here where i live.. anyway my husband was very happy with this Tent and we are planning on one last camp out at the lake before the weather change and even if it rain this is water proof and with solar lights and a generator this will be Awesome to use! Thank #OZARK TRAIL and #Walmart Spark!it 18x18 so this is pretty Big!it a sturdy Tent that is well made.

Awesome Camping Gear!

This tent is AMAZING! I loved how easy it was to set up and take down. It had plenty of room. I could fit my queen size inflatable mattress inside with plenty of room for the cooler, games, clothes really everything I brought that I wanted out of the elements. I never use a camper or an RV always a tent and this was honestly the first time I felt just as comfortable as my other friends!! Ozark is a reliable company that I trust for all my camping supplies. This tent is going to make my camping trips more often and definitely more enjoyable. I will totally recommend this product to my friends.

Awesome product!! Easy to set up take down!

I LOVE THIS TENT except that it is not waterproof even the slightest.  Night time humidity moisture in the air will drip through the fly and the tent everywhere.

But the tent itself is very spacious and well laid out.  The 3 doors %26 interior walls let you create three separate rooms if needed.
The screen room makes a perfect kitchen area %26 built in floor helps minimize dirt tracked into back bedroom area.

I'm a short woman and I set this up myself but it can be a little tricky to get one side of the pole in without the other side popping out. 2 person set up would be easy but allow an hour as the unusual shape of this tent requires a couple of stake position adjustments to get it all tight.

Important factor is that you can stand up straight right beside the walls so you get more comfortable usable space %26 the windows and doors have a variety of angles to optimize air flow while minimizing direct sun shining inside.

The color of my tent was different than the color in the picture on the box.  It is a wonderful mint green which not only is very attractive but is a cooling color to look at %26 physically cooler inside than the typical dark blue.

3 queen air mattresses could fit comfortably with some floor space left over if you put the walls of the screen room up to use it as a bedroom.

I shopped around %26 this is by far the best tent for the money in the lower price range %26 you can get it fast.
Just don't forget to buy some waterproofing spray and set it up in a clean area first to treat it before you go camping anywhere.

NOT WATERPROOF

This is a review of the Ozark Trail Family Tent. Unless you are a couple of army squads on a recon mission, a family of 14 might want to buy several, but technically it looks like 14 people could sleep in this tent. It is very spacious, offering 203 sq ft, and well layed out. It features 8 screened windows and a private entrance for each of the 3 rooms. The main room is a large screen house, with a center height of 6.5 feet. This room could also be used as the third bedroom. When assembled, the tent forms a large Y shape, the large rear room has two entrances and an included curtain to make two separate bedrooms if desired.
Speaking of assembly, I would advise watching the video on the product page at Walmart.com, alot of what is shown is not mentioned in the sparse directions included.
 My wife and I took about 40 minutes to put the tent up, the poles are easy enough to select, but we did mistake one of the sleeves and had to redo. Also a problem was fitting the rain fly, important since the entire top of the tent is screened, which is nice for stargazing. Again, watch the video to avoid some of the small mistakes we made.
It includes standard features such as e-pocket, water bottle holders, and even a hanging pouch for your tablet. 
 There are many tents on the market, especially from Ozark Trail, this tent is a good combination of affordable price, intelligent design, fairly easy setup and takedown, and plenty of room for the whole family.

Family Camping fun

This tent is awesome, but the instructions to set it up are rough. I hate to say anything bad about this tent because I like it to much, but the instructions were really, really hard to understand. 

We took this up to my kids's cabin in the mountains, and it took five adults about 1 1/2 to 2 hours to put this together the right way. Once it was up, it was great. There was lots of room and three sections, separated for privacy by zippered doors. Taking it down wasn't too bad. They even got it in the carry bag. 

It's a very nice, functional, and comfortable tent, but be prepared to learn how to set it up the first time. After that, camp on!

A great family tent,, but. . . .

so far I loved it. I've only used it once and we're going camping again in a few days. I was happy it didn't leak  as I seen a lot of people saying it leaked in the rain. mine held up good in a bad storm but I did spray it with water resistant spray which you must do to all tents regardless.. I would have gave a 5 star but the instructions sucked and we had a hard time figuring it out so hope the 2nd time is easier. we didn't have internet to watch a video were in the mountains with no reception. but so far so good I've gone through 3 tents that all sucked!!! but this one was the best and very roomy. I live that you can everything open to see the stars or close up every room including the canopy part.

I loved it but hard to set up

So far I have only set the tent up to check it out. Did have plans on actually testing it out but due to timing issues I couldn't. It was not as hard as I thought it would be to set up! I would say if you have any experience setting up a tent and you have at least one helper (although 3 people to set it up would be optimal) you could get it done in about 30 minutes. It took my 2 teenagers and I about an hour but we did not have the instructions. Found them after the fact (LOL). I thought the only instructions were on the bag that holds the tent which is not a full set of instructions. There is a white envelope inside the box that contains 3 pieces of paper, one being the instructions. I thought I emptied that envelope before I started (good thing I double checked after). Had we had the instructions and my youngest had experience setting up a tent we could have gotten it done much faster. We have not actually slept in it yet so I can not comment on it's waterproofness. All of the zippers are covered by fabric so I think that would definitely cut down the risk of leakage. It seems to be pretty tough so I have hope it will hold up. It says it can be three rooms, there is a "divider" that comes to put in the back. You can use it or leave it off. It is more like a room divider curtain than a wall.

Huge tent

It was on back order in June so I waited months to receive it I live in MINNESOTA. so being October. Days are few that the weather permits camping. It too late in the year and too cold to go camping now in October. But my neighbors and I put it together in the yard it's about at lest a 3 person job, seriously! no way could I have done this by myself I have a Neurological condition, though. It took about a hour for 3 of us to put it together for the first time.. maybe 2 ppl. Could do it but 3 is better. The directions were awful not very discriptive. None of the parts were labeled or marked. Thankfully my neighbors have a smaller but similar tent... they mostly knew how to put it together. If it had been me all alone I would have been completely lost. I am a first timer. With a tent like this. The cover is awful barely fits and was super frustrating to put on! The Velcro latches inside made to half the main side poles it not good wont work. Does not stay.. but easy to take apart, and with a lot of careful folding will put away nicely in the bag.. the zipper on the bag does not work well though. Claims it sleeps 14.. I disagree a family of 6-8 would be quite comfortable love the separate rooms

Spacious, not a one person job to put together

Tent leaked like crazy.  We sprayed the rain flap and tent with waterproofing spray and even did a 2nd coat on the seams.  It mostly held up during the rain on our first trip with only a few drops getting inside. The 2nd trip it leaked like a sieve- there were puddles everywhere and it came streaming in through the window zippers. The rain ties didn't do anything and the water puddled on the tent by the doors.
The design is also not practical as it has weird angles that end up as useless space. Once the air mattresses (we had 2 queen and 2 twin) are set so they aren't touching the edges there are corner spots that can't be used. (Think of putting a rectangle in a trapezoid.) These areas are calculated in the square footage which is what I was looking at when deciding on this tent. We couldn't put our bags there bc they would touch the edge and get wet (even before the rain storm).

The only good thing about this tent is the color. It is cute.

Leaked like crazy

My family order this to go camping and the 2nd day camping it rained and was a little windy. It leaked rain all inside and the wind of less then 10 broke 2 poles. Camping trip was over and we couldn't even get the money back for the site.  So now it's unless and sits in a box in my garage.
