This bike drives great. Going 25 mph on a bicycle is a new sensation, I like it. The forks could be more sturdy but I am definitely getting what I paid for with this product. The front wheel well assembly arrived damaged, and the front wheel arrived out of true, so I had to get the wheel repaired at the the local bike mechanic. I messaged Hyper Bicycles and they are sending me a new part free of charge! Their initial response time was fifteen minutes! I was able to order the part the same day as my inquiry! They say it will be here within 3-5 business days! I am impressed so far. 5 stars very good.

Outstanding customer service

I must have spent 2 hours unwrapping the bike there were more tie straps foam and cardboard wrap and you can imagine. assembling take some time well considering I'm looking 70 in the eyeball it takes some time but after putting it together I feel like it's a great accomplishment. I like bike riding but I bought it in case I tire out I can get back home. you would think all electric bikes would come with electric headlight and electric tail light but they don't, it has reflectors. my next goal is to get saddlebags so I can pick up groceries and carry them on the back and of course a good chain or cable to lock it down or something like this would definitely walk. if you live in the city or suburbs definitely lock it in your house or your shed. living in southern Florida the kids down there are bike thieves. they steal
bikes and repaint them. I know I had it happen to me so please take care of your e-bike. never change your bike up by your front wheel, or on a post that the cable can be lifted over the top. I'm planning on taking it out for a ride I haven't tried it yet. but I'm sure it's like riding a regular bike. once you learn to ride a bike you never forget. the fenders are not aluminum but the remainder of the bike is. the paint job on the bike is very nice. mine is powder blue. I don't know if it comes in the other colors but this is fine. it kind of reminds you of an old fashioned bicycle with handlebars of a mountain bike. I think the old-fashioned curved up handlebars would have looked nicer on it, it would have made it look more nostalgic. it does have some air in the tires but they're not full. I would advise filling them before writing on it so you don't pinch the tubes. I'm assuming it has tubes. the seat on the bicycle is not the old-fashioned broad seat but it's adequate. personally if I find it uncomfortable after a few miles riding I'm going to order an old fashioned wide backseat. y'all know what I'm talking about, the old Pee-wee Herman type bicycle seat, yeah, that's one comfortable seat that way for the cheeks of your bottom.

sweet ride

The bike arrived as scheduled. It came fully wrapped in plastic and cardboard. I expected it to cover damaged or parts missing but  there was no damaged to the bike at all. 

Assembly was a breeze except for the brakes which needed some adjustment. The brakes were adjusted way too tight, otherwise the bike is awesome. So far I've only taken it for a quick spin around the block but it really picks up and go.  For what I paid, this bike is just as good as the ones that cost twice the price. I've own a Stromer and Haibike, those motors are twice as powerful but 4x the price of what I paid for this bike. The Hyper feels incredibly sturdy, the welds are thick and the bike feels hefty. For the money, this bike can't be beat.

This bike is incredible. I needed assistance when riding up hills. I cant believe the power it has.  It goes a lot faster than I ever thought.  I love the color and size.  The seat was a little small and uncomfortable, but that was an easy fix.  Other than that, its a great bike for the price and I would highly recommend it.  I saw several reviews about the packing not being satisfactory. This bike was packed so well. The box had no damage at all. Everything was wrapped very well, not one thing was scratched or damaged. Great Bike!!

This is a great beginner E-Bike !! 
Pros:
-Aluminum Frame 
-Shimano Components ( Take back bike if they send Falcon Components … Falcon is horrible )
-Surprisingly good brakes for rim brakes
-Machined Alloy Wheels 
-Comfortable Grips 
-Upright Seat position is so comfortable 
-Good Power with the Peddle Assist

Cons:
-Saddle is like a rock
- Quil Stem Headset
-Chain Guard is junk
-Pedals are small 
-No Quick Release on Wheels

All in all I would recommend this to any one who wants to cruise around the city and see if an ebike is for you… At 398.00 you really don't have a lot to loose

Great E-Bike for cruising around the city !

This is our first ebike purchase and we are not disappointed,  purchased 2 bikes, very easy to assemble (maintenance  mechanic) Lol great price for entry level ebike! If your on the fence about this ebike, go for it, you will not be disappointed! We travel (camp) often and this bike is our new toy to take along!

Great ebike for the price

Under product details this bike is for riders that are 5' 2" to 5' 10".  That is not correct.  the height is for a rider of 5' 4" to 6' 2".  I am 5' 7" and it fits me with the seat all the way down.  With the seat all the way down, it's 34" from the top to the ground.

bike is taller then advertised.

Modest eBike, Offering Good Value, but WILL need quite a few hours of work and adjustment. This Hyper was less expensive than almost any electric bike in 2021, yes, but be aware what you're getting for your hard-earned cash. This is the fourth ebike (“e-ride”) from Hyper that I've purchased. Two were defective from the factory with either a smashed front fork (shock), or a drivetrain power cable that was plugged in but failed to power up the bike at all, ever. 

The other two (for my wife and son) arrived safely with no harm done by the delivery driver(s). Thank God.

So, it's a bit of a “hit or miss” situation. Sometimes you get lucky and the bike arrives in good condition, and sometimes (about 50% of the time for me) they arrive in unusable shape, unfortunately. 

This particular 700c City Bike (in gloss black and matte gray) arrived a few days ago in undamaged condition (Yeah!) but both wheels were seriously over tightened and barely turned one rotation before coming to a stop! Also, they were BOTH completely out of true (left to right imbalance), as well as “out of round” (up and down imbalance). This is not unsafe or dangerous but it does make for a funky, sloppy, and slow... ride. Kind of like going uphill all of the time. Also, the bearings will be destroyed quite quickly without an adjustment. This would get pretty expensive, rather quickly, unfortunately, and makes the great WalMart price less enticing, sadly. 

So. The Hyper e-ride City Bike (with nice black fenders and nifty rear alloy rack) looks GREAT, but please consider a full adjustment and tune-up, as well as wheel-truing before taking your first ride? It will make your electric bike experience much safer, and smoother, and less expensive in the long run. Best of luck to you! See you on the bike path!

Modest eBike, Good Value, Needs Works.

Unfortunately I received the bike in a box that was kicked in with large holes in the box, gears sticking out, bottom end was open and box had no foam at all to protect it and had been taped up a ton. Idk if all parts were there and fenders %26 chain cover were dented in and scratched up. Unable to ship it as received so loaded up  parts and what was left of the box and took to Walmart. Thank goodness for the help of Malik in customer service helping me get it into the store.  So bummed. Looked like a nice bike I got for my birthday.

Looks like I got a returned bike

I liked the bike and what it had to offer. However, the shipping that Walmart used for my bike as VERY poor. When the bike arrived, the shipping carton was sturdy because it was patched together with other pieces of cardboard, and held together with lots of packing tape. When the patches were taken off, it was obvious that the bike had been in a major hit with the carton having large holes poked in it, as well as a long gash along the side. Both fenders were dented, the rear one to the extent that it was rubbing on the tire all the time. The end result was that I was able to put it together, but it was missing some important components, namely the battery key to aid in removal from the bike frame, a charger for the batter, a couple of washers for the front axle to secure the front wheel from coming off the fork, (of all things) pedals. The return process was easy enough with the exception of getting it to the local Walmart store. But once there, there was no hassle. Having said all that, the bike was good for it's price, but Walmart should be ashamed of how this bike was shipped.
