This is my favorite piece of exercise equipment! It requires two people to set up but is relatively easy and quick to assemble. I am 47 and fairly fit. I have weak upper back muscles and have found this to be a wonderful way to exercise those hard to reach muscles. I have exercised muscles that I didn't know existed and were in desperate need of exercise! I feel that this was a good investment for equipment that I can use for the rest of my life! I'm so glad I decided on this purchase!

First and foremost, this is the best machine for the money. The only recommendation would be for a better pulley system. My SO is 6'4” and I'm 5'6” and there's a lot of manual adjusting that takes time. Other than that, zero complaints. This is our second Stamina pilates product and we will definitely stay with Stamina products. High quality and great customer support. Our pulley rope was cut during transport and we received a new rope within a week.

Great machine!

After much research I purchased the AeroPilates because of price, quality and performance. It truly is an exceptional Pilates Reformer. I had been using a very expensive Reformer at Club Pilates and the AeroPilates performs just as well.

Couldn't have gotten a better Pilates Reformer

Best Gift Ever!!

I love this machine. I have low back pain but still want to workout. This has been the answer to that problem. I first ordered the smaller unit, but returned it because it was too short and had a bump in the rails where it folds. This machine is super smooth and is plenty long enough for me (I'm 5'10").

Good piece of equipment. Pulleys are a little noisy but not bad. The carriage moves smoothly and is sturdy.

Very good reformer for home pilates work

I bought this product based on prior reviews and agree with the positive reviews I read.  The base unit is sturdy, glides well and could well accommodate a much taller person than me.  The install instructions were easy enough to follow and all tools needed came within the package. The rebound board could be larger - but is functional.  The one improvement I would suggest is a denser padding on the base unit.

I have wanted a Pilates reformer forever and finally purchased the Stamina 556 a month ago. this machine is a little longer than some of the others, great for taller people. It is sturdy, quiet and glides smoothly. I am very happy with this product and I suspect it will last me a very long time

My equipment came and one of the factory screws were not tightened. Luckily my husband noticed and could fix it. The machine otherwise was fine with the exception that one pulley does move smoothly. It could just need some time to loosen but I'm not sure.

Factory defect

I bought the reformer and I'm really happy with it however the DVDs that explained the exercises don't work and I tried them in at least 3 different DVD players. I have taken some Pilates classes before but would have liked to see the exercises they recommmend.

Great equipment, faulty DVDs

I go to Pilates 5-6 days a week at a studio but wanted to get my own Pilates machine for the days I am unable to go because I love it so much.  I did review a lot of machines and thought I should invest in a more expensive one that would be closer to a studio machine.  This machine would be fine for someone just starting out or who has never used a commercial machine but to me, it is far inferior and hard to adjust to.  It does not glide as smooth, the handles are hardly adjustable, the rebounder is very small, and the footbar rattles and doesn't stay firm in its position. It also has a really bad chemical smell after about 4 - 6 weeks...
