This goes at a slower pace but affective for me.  The pulley grab bars, sliding bench, etc. just so many great things for me to be able to get in shape at my pace, safely.

New to this...z

Had this Total Gym APEX G5 1 month now. I like it a lot. Previously had a Bowflex (very expensive %26 complicated to use, finally wore it out). The Total Gym is very easy to buy, set up and use with no hassle. Glad I bought this APEX G5 model, just right. Quickly settled into workout routine that works for me %26 I don't dread working out, it's actually fun %26 you start seeing %26 feeling results quickly. Love that you can walk up %26 use Total Gym %26 walk away without having to make a ton of adjustments. Debated whether or not to buy another piece of equipment like this. Finally decided if it's good enough for "Chuck Norris" it's probably good enough for me, I was right. This will be my workout system from now on. "Well Done" Total Gym and thanks again to Chuck Norris, great job!

SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT ONE SOONER

I love this apparatus. In my den, I can do everything without having to go to the gym, which I do belong to. The only thing not in the instructions was how to disconnect the cables to use other equipment on the board. I called the company and it was really easy and they told me how to do it.

It was a pretty easy set up. I have had it for about 3 weeks now and Im not sure yet how to attach some of the parts but using it and living it. Im sure Ill figure it out as I read more.

Girl power

The product is quite heavy (87 lbs according to delivery info). It is not something you want to return if you can help it. I had an issue with the unit and the seller elected to discount with a refund amount which was satisfactory with me. I was able to contract an A/C mechanic with the proper tools to align and tweak the vertical post with the bench slider rails to be able to move the rails pass the reference %236 to the maximum of %2310 and back down to %231 and storage mode.  My problem was the rails getting stuck at the bottom and with resistance of movement going up or down. The refund amount helped paid to resolve the issue.

Great Seller/Customer relationship

It has been a positive experience. The unit
was packed very well and no damage occurred.
It was delivered several days ahead of schedule. The unit itself is awesome.  It is made of steel and built very strong. It came with a dvd which helped with setting it up. The dvd also showed me an exercise workout that I followed and liked. There are so many exercises on u-tube and I've heard Pinterest  does the same.

I have done several workouts so far and they have gone well. My body is sore! I will continue using my Total Gym and it's nice to have it at home and not having to drive to the gym which I am going to cancel. Let me end this by talking about where to buy it. If you go on the Total Gym website they are expensive. I went onto the Walmart site and found several Total Gym models. The one I chose for $399 plus tax included free shipping. It weighs 86 lbs (again very robust and strong). So after checking everything out I felt Walmart had the best option.  My model is the  Total Gym APEX G3. I highly recommend it. It's  not on the Total Gym website as it came out in mid 2020 and they have raised their prices with new models  that all do the same thing. Hope this is helpful!
The unit folds up for storage but I leave mine setup in the extra bedroom.

Team this machine is blessed by God. Instantly i knew God wanted me to purchase this machine. It worked automatically. I felt strengthened and rejuvenated. I give thanks to my lord and saviour Jesus Christ for helping me to get out of my daily rut and get back to a healthy body and consciousness. Walmart was flawless with the delivery in two days. Overall, this is a very good piece of equipment. I've been using a Total Gym as a major part of my workouts since 2016. It has assisted in achieving a 55  lbs weight lose (in a year) while maintaining my strength and conditioning. This model was an upgrade from my previous one and definitely has allowed me to add more exercises and resistance to my routine. I purchased a weight bar and weight plates separately, which allows additional weight to the workout. The only two issues I have with the Apex G3 are the ankle strap and the squat pad. The ankle strap that comes with this model is not the best and most updated that Total Gym offers. Upon first use I could hear and feel the strain on the strap and the stitches. The plastic adustment buckle does not instill a lot of confidence in the strap. It's longevity is in question at this point. The squat pad is slicker than an ice rink! My squat pad was almost unusable because of the slick plastic surface, despite using different shoes to see if it made a difference.
My solution was to rough up the surface with sand paper. This helped a little, but what helped the greatest was mounting 4 anti-skid adhesive strip to the squat pad. There is no more sliding around the squat pad. The believe price value and the shipping time were both very good.

Total Gym Apex 3, good price, good equipment!

Perhaps an isolated issue. However, the four wheels utilized for the track system produced noticeable jarring throughout the range of motion. Not fluid at all. Upon further inspection, I found the wheels and bearings assemblies were either not installed properly or faulty. They did not run true and would rub at certain points on rotation against the chassis. Has been over 48 hours since Contacted Walmart I have yet to hear back any resolution.

Product not without issues.

Its made kinda cheaply. You cnt just start exercising, you have to constantly stop and take parts off to use for other exercises. Its kinda dangerous around the pulleys(especially around children). Always have hair up really well to prevent getting caught in pulleys/cables. It came with a very cheap foot insert to do leg exercises. It does fit small feet well at all and hurts due to it pulling/slipping so you have to struggle to do anything at all with the legs. Its loud as well. It takes up an entire leangh of a room normal size room. so you need alot of space. You csn only do one leg at a time. Im still trying to see if I can rig my leg bands to do both but no luck so far. Ive used for three days now and really just wnt rid of it to be honest because I so far have no feeling that it will work. Ive used it for about 2hrs each day for three days and no pain or sorness. Im not in shape at all yet so I shlve been sore at least. It wld be better if you didnt have to keep moving parts to do new exercises, a better foot insert. Also the exercise chart is black and fuzzy looking. you cnt really see what the diagrams are w/o having to stop to be rt up on it.
