The Dumbbell Stand is a must for storage and if you're lifting to work out while standing up. If you are using a bench however, it becomes somewhat null since I place my 1090's on each side of my bench when I'm sitting down so I don't use the stand. For squats, standing dumbbell curls or standing shoulder presses though, then this is a must. I'm 6'3 and it saves my back from the unnecessary load with having to bend down low on the ground to get the weights up. Depending on if you're a bench person or do mostly standing-up workouts, then you can decide if you need it or not but personally speaking, since I do both... I bought it. The only thing I have to say is that the strap for the dumbbells for the 1090's need to be somewhat enhanced because of the way it holds up the dumbbells and the strap that gets in the way when you lift the weights off. Not a deal breaker and a little knuckle brushing against the strap doesn't bother me so much. The price though, yeah... a little. Overall, it serves me great and I'm good with my purchase. In hindsight though, I don't really need it but to compliment my 1090's, I wanted it so I got it!

Sturdy and Easy to Assemble

One of my weight lifting goals is not getting hurt when I pick up the weights from the floor. The stand eliminates the problem. I've put my iPad on it to manage my workouts and it's at an eye level that is easy to view. I assembled it myself and made a couple of dumb mistakes. Once I realized what I had done it was easy to take it apart and put back the right way. Ideally have someone else there to help.

Perfect complement to Select Tec

This is the second purchase from bowflex... I have the straight bar and curl bar along with the stand which all survived hurricane Ian has well has I..but this is helping me with recovery (lots of WD-40) to get rid of the muck and prevent rusting. With this newly purchase of the dumbells and the stand. Looking forward to adding the bench.

Holds the weights and whatever device you have. Good height set. I'm 6'2" and they aren't too low or high. Not really complicated to put together. It's a little pricey but it looks sharp and does its job so nothing to complain about.

They work.

The stand was easy to assemble, sturdy and great looking. It fits and looks great in my small gym area. Best of all, it does its job and supports the 2 90 lb. Bowflex dumbbells I purchased it for. The only downside I discovered is that, if you're using the stand for the 1090s, you cannot secure the weight tray directly to the stand. Rather you need to secure the tray with strap that's provided a which obstructs the area your hand goes in to grip the weight. That said, it's still a very solid product and I'm happy with my purchase.

There were many parts to assemble and the padding on the tablet stand was damaged. Took some pictures but not sure I want to get a new one and have to assemble agin.

The female end of the buckle that straps the 1090 platform to the base isn't adjustable from its inconvenient placement. Unable to lift or set down the weight without smashing my hand against it.

Minor design flaw

Product is relative easy to setup and easy to use, however there is a major but unrestrictive flaw for the security of the 1090 dumbbells. In order to keep the base secure on the stand, there is click-in strap. The problem is that this strap gets in the way of your hand when removing/placing the db of/on the stand. There doesn't seem to be a way to move this. So the choices are either unfasten the strap and lose a little of stability of the base, or have difficulty/uncomfort taking the dumbbells on/off.
