good space saver, not so good bench. I primarily purchased this because it has the ability to fold up, which means I can store it away when not in use. I used to have an Olympic style weight bench which I loved, however years of wear and tear and the move to a new home made me eventually scrap it. Like the title says, it's a standard bench, so when bench pressing you are mainly stuck with a close grip press, also for me if you try to do a wide grip, it's too wide and with a standard grip, you have a good chance of pinching your hands when racking. otherwise if your looking to save space by having the option to fold up and put away when not in use, this is the right setup for you. If you have a designated gym area in your home where you can keep it up all the time I would suggest a cheaper Olympic style setup. I think this is mainly high for the ability to fold it up.

The bench is great however, this has to be the worst assembly directions ever. I would recommend this bench.
