I also wear a size 16 in clothes, am 5'2, but am a 40C.  The size 16 suit fit perfectly.  My bust is covered, with modest cleavage, just as shown.  There is NO real support in the suit.  All the bust support is in the halter tie.  I tie mine very tightly (I'm 60, so a bit droopy, lol!) But, the construction is done so well, that this is more than adequate, if you can stand the pressure on the back of your neck. There is some thin padding, but this is not for support, more for modesty and shape. The top of the suit is so well constructed that it completely hides any top/side fat.  I was disappointed that the tummy control is not tighter.  It's fine for swimming, but I have to admit that I wore a light control spanx-type panty under it at a swim party.  The boy shorts are wonderful for getting in and out of the pool if your upper thighs are not your best feature.  The skirt covers them completely. I bought the "lemon" suit and am presently ordering 2 more in other colors.  I am able to buy 3 suits for the same price I paid for the single suit I bought last year! It's a VERY CUTE, flattering suit, especially for the price!

I normally wear 14/16 in clothes, and 42DD bra.  Would it support 42DD, or would I be busting out?? If there is support,  what size recommend

Love, love, love this suit. Absolutely adorable, comfortable, and fabulous.  I get tons of compliments on this one!  True, the shorts are very baggy, I mean very baggy, but for me, that's okay. I find them comfy. Will definitely order this suit in all of the other colors offered.

Beautiful Bathing Suit.

This is by far the best bathing suit I have owned. It was extremely flattering and it really did keep my tummy tucked. I have recently lost weight and wasn't sure what size to buy, but it was certainly true to size! I love it! I strongly approve of this bathing suit, if you are a plus sized lady like myself, this suit is a great purchase!

True to Size

Such a cute print! Fits well (true to size), nice heavier weight quality fabric. I hate when you buy a swimsuit and the fabric is thin. Recommend!

Really cute

While I love the idea of this suit, the construction is a hit or miss. The top is well-made and fits perfectly. The skirt has a beautiful hem line. The pants underneath are ridiculous. They are huge and not well-made. The seam between the legs is all wrong. I sewed both outside edges to try to at least make it more modest, but I would have had to take apart the seam in the middle and reconstruct it in order to fit properly. What I did instead was buy another boy leg bottom to wear over top the existing one. Now it's perfect, and I get a lot of compliments on it. In the end, I am happy that I have a suit that looks good on me and is comfortable to wear.

Bottom not well-constructed

Was really hoping this would turn out good, but it didn't.  Shorts are baggy and the dress part just floats up and stays up.  Top part fit great but really disappointed in the undershorts and dress.  Better off with a skirtless 1-piece.

Looks cute, BUT...

The swimsuit is exactly as you see here.  My problem was the sizing. I have recently lose over 100 lbs. I had my measurements taken %26 I ordered the swimsuit according to size chart. I got it on up to my chest. I had breasts spilling out everywhere.  if you use the cchart, make sure to size up for chest bc I ordered mine according to my entire body. I had the end up giving it to my granddaughter.  We are the same size i just have a larger chest. It fit her perfectly.

The shorts underneath are very thin and not tight.  I didnt care for the fit or the low top.
