Been using this product for about 4 months now, is the best product I've put in my hair. Let's me do so many different cool hairstyles, and leaves a nice finish. Used to use the Smooth look Pommade, which is also great. However, I prefer this one for my hairstyle.

Best Hair Paste ever!

This product easily is my go to with short to mid hair length, trying to get the quiff or messy look, it really has a nice matte look with great hold. This product makes your hair look great with very little effort, 1 minute of messing with your hair and your done.

Great product, very solid

I bought this product to use on my short hair. I am female. However, I was not able to find a product to use that I like that is marketed for females. This product is exactly what I was looking for! It smells great, holds all day, and can be easily restyled by running my fingers through my hair. I highly recommend it! I will definitely purchase again in the future.

Great product! Truly is flexible.

I've been using axe messy look hair paste for years, since I first saw it appear on shelves back in 2009/2010. It's always been the perfect product for my hair. Now that they've switched from the plastic packaging to the metal packaging I have two complaints. The product itself doesn't have the same texture or hold that it used to. It's more of a pomade now than a paste. Unless I got a bad batch. Also, with the new metal tin there seems to be significantly less product than what we got in the plastic container. Bring back the old formula please.

New formula is terrible

I used the messy look paste for years. Now they changed the container so that you get less product, and they changed the formula which is much greasier. It doesn't hold anywhere NEAR as well as the old stuff. Until they change it back, I'll be using something else.

New formula sucks!

When purchasing the item I thought I was purchasing this exact pictured item whoch my husband loves!!! But they have now came or with there new cans and seems to him as a new formula as well it's not sticky anymore.. and so that's why I rated this a 1 because I thought I was getting exactly what was in the picture

Not what expected

I have used this paste since its release and have tried many others but this was the only one that worked for me! NOW, AXE has not only made the container smaller BUT has changed the formula for the worse!! I would not mind the change of the container size if it weren't for the change in formula! I would still purchase! BUT NOW I have to go hunting for a new product that will do what AXE once did! I have bought out all of my local stores old formulas in the plastic containers and am now on my last one. Please, please, PLEASE switch back to the old formula!!

BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA!!!!

The product that now comes in a tin is useless. It makes hair look flat and greasy rather than giving it any sort of style. I've had two people ask me what happened to my hair. Now the search begins for another product that is similar to the old Axe Whatever.

I was an avid supporter of the AXE - Messy squeeze tube paste. I realized they discontinued that product. With that in mind, I decided to try the new Axe - Messy tin. I had horrible results. It's nothing like the tube version. The tin version leaves my hair greasy, oily and shiny. Also, there is no hold, my hair falls as if it was lifeless. PLEASE BRING BACK THE SQUEEZE TUBE VERSION
