I have always trusted Neosporin. I have tried different store brands - they say it's the same - but nothing seems to work as well as this brand.
The pain reliever in this cream really does help take some of the sting out. The cream is easy to use, easy to spread. Besides minor wounds I also use this on any cracked skin I have.
I think every house should have both the Neosporin cream and ointment. I prefer the ointment when I have a more serious wound that needs to stay moist and bandaged for a few days.

Better than store brands

This is my review of the Neosporin + Pain Relief Dual Action Cream, 1 Oz. The main difference between this Neosporin + Pain Relief Dual Action Cream, is that it’s a cream. The Neosporin that I have used in the past was an ointment. I prefer the ointment, better due to it not leaving a white cream appearance. The Neosporin + Pain Relief Dual Action Cream, however, did work just as well as the ointment with the added pain relief dual action. I did notice that the Neosporin + Pain Relief Dual Action Cream, relieved the pain from a shin scrap that I had very quickly. The wound healed nicely also. I hope that Neosporin will make this in an ointment form, also. I have never had any problems with cuts or other wound healing when I apply Neosporin, as soon as possible. Now that they have added the pain relief dual action it will be even better. My son is always getting cuts or scrapes and he will enjoy the benefits of have the quick healing and the added pain relief along with it. I would recommend this product because I tried the product and it worked very good on my scrape. As you know a shin scrape can be painful and slow to heal, sometimes. So the Neosporin + Pain Relief Dual Action Cream, did a very good job of healing and relieving the pain, quickly.

Relieve pain and heals quickly

This was the first time id tried this version of the Neosporin & i really do like it. For one thing the cream spreads pretty far and sticks right were its applied. I always have finger nails that break pretty low down at the sides & its very sore -up until now id just have to put a bandaid around it and pretend its not bothering me. This neosporin cream when i dab it in it instantly soothes away the pain im feeling & now i use it when my fingers get inflamed from hangnails -the relief is great!
I have also used it at bedtime for from where my eye glasses press to tight behind my ear irritating the skin there. I would recommend this for any cuts & scrapes you might get, never had a cream deliver like this before, does exactly what it says it does.

Works great on my split nails

I always loved Neosporin more than any other brand in this category and this time is no different and just makes know my choice is the best one. This ointment truly is pain relief times ten! I mean you put this on a paper cut or whatever it may be and the sting or pain is gone in literally a minute. I would never use anything else but Neosporin and have felt that way for years. The fact that this one helps prevent infections for 24 hours and starts to kill germs in less than 15 minutes makes this one now my #1 choice for my son and for us. I also love that this can also be used with burns as well so you don't need to purchase a separate burn cream to have on hand when you have everything in one like this and trust me I am a clutz and burn myself often. lol Highly recommend Neosporin!

I always loved Neosporin

I have been using Neosporin for years and years and I love it. When you get the Neosporin + Pain Relief, it really does help take the hurt away. It's very simple and easy to use, prevents infection, and eases pain. What more could you want in an antibiotic? It does exactly what it is supposed to do - prevent infection, plus it helps the pain of minor cuts, burns, and scrapes. I can't recommend this highly enough. I am quite literally never without it in my house.

Love this stuff!!

This Neosporin is a white lotion like cream, its light and applies easily without clumping or needing much rubbing onto the surface. 

I am a silver and metal smith who gets knicks, scratches and an occasional burn while working. I had the opportunity of applying Neosporin to a nasty metal cut recently. I found the cream to be very soothing and it did suppress the pain within a short time. I reapplied the cream and a fresh bandage in the evening and the following morning. The following evening I removed the bandage to see my cut was healing quickly and with no infection. 
 
I love this product and now have it in my studio first aid kit to use if needed. I can always depend on Neosporin to help me with minor cuts, scrapes, and burns. I'm especially happy about this dual action cream.

Soothing

Neosporin is one of the best over-the-counter products for cuts and minor infections. I have used Neosporin for years with excellent results. It is easy to use .. I just apply it to the affected area followed with a BandAid, dressing, or left open. There are easy instructions on how to use the product to get the best results, and Neosporin is easy to find in most stores. I always make sure I have Neosporin on hand. I highly recommend this product for minor cuts, sores, and infections; and it has been highly recommended to me by my doctors.

EXCELLENT ANTIBIOTIC SALVE

For over the counter use a person can't beat Neosporin.. It helps prevent infection and provides pain relief. I am told it's the number one doctor recommended brand. I have used this for quite some time. When I get an affected area I clean the area using a disinfectant, apply Neosporin and cover the area. It is a must item in my first aid supplies. If you haven't tried Neosporin I strongly suggest you get some and next time you get a wound, try it and see if you don't agree.

good stuff

I was really pleased with how well Neosporine+Pain Relief worked on my husband's cut. His cut wasn't big, but it was deep and it was causing him a lot of pain! I applied the cream to his cut and thanks to Neosporine's Maximuim Strength Pain Relief formula, his pain was gone. It was so soothing he didn't feel he needed to keep rubbing his cut which would definitely have led to infection. Neosporine is a #1 Doctor Recommended Brand but more importantly it is recommended by my husband who used it on his cut and it not only helped him heal, it gave him relief from pain and kept his cut free of infection.

Great for First Aid & Promotes Healing!

Neosporin + Pain Relief Dual Action Cream is a useful product in my house. I've been a long- time user of Neosporin for its anti-bacterial benefits on cuts and scrapes. The +Pain Relief is new to me, however, over the years, I did think it would be nice to have a product that does both. This may have been on the market then but I wasn't aware of it. 

Used on freshly clean skin, Neosporin cream offers healing benefits by keeping bacteria away from the wound. It's the first product I look for when anyone in my house is injured. The pain relief part of this dual action cream does take the edge off - which is very helpful. The pain relief, in my opinion, was short-lived and required an over-the-counter medication as well to provide full pain relief. 

Overall. I would buy the Neosporin Dual Action Pain Relief Cream because it offers two useful products in one cream. I would have given it five stars if the pain relief was greater or lasted even longer.
