The seat would have been wonderful if it had fit.  It was too small for the bowl so I had to return it.

I bought this Carex EZ Lock Raised Toilet Seat for my 92 year old mother who has difficulty standing up from a sitting position. She's 5' 4" and weighs about 150 lbs. so this looked like a good solution. Although there were no directions in the box my wife had no problems installing it in a few minutes. It screws down securely to the round-style toilet bowl and the handles easily adjusted to the correct width. My mother was pleased with the solution. The design and function is perfect for her use.

Exactly what I expected! It is very portable and easy to use. I take it on and off after each use, and feel that I have not inconvenienced others who use the same bathroom. It is so convenient and helpful for me to be more independent. Very easy to install.

Following my Achilles rupture the extra inches and rails were very helpful to let me independently talk care of business independently.

I bought a similar item from Amazon but without the 5 inch riser seat which apparently I desperately needed as my toilet was too low for me after spending 3 weeks in the hospital. With this seat I can get up by myself (after having to call 911 to help me get up with the first one from Amazon)

Just what we needed

I bought this for my mom who lives in an apartment where the toilets are low enough for a child. Not only is she older and has knee and back arthritis but is having a knee replacement this month. She can hardly get on or off the toilet. I bought it and it was SO easy to install. She was thrilled and is still thanking me, calling it 'toilet heaven'.
