So my father in law was in need of a chair that is wider in the seat (19") but narrow enough to fit through smaller standard doorways. He is 6'2" 255 lbs. and the doorways are 29" wide. The chair has arms that can be pushed right up to the kitchen table for meals too. The arms are not fixed, it would be nice if they were. The legs supports were the only parts not assembled. It was easy to put together. Overall it is a great price and it looks well design with the exception of the arms (they are meant to be removable, the biggest issues is that if you try to grab the chair by the arm and pull the chair, the arm comes free from the lock keeping it in place) . It seats comfortably and rolls nicely. 
Bottom line - for the nasty, cracked chair that Humanna wanted to charge $20/ month x 13 months, this is a better option and it fits my FIL and through the doorways. 
If you go to the manufacture website there is a nice chart with each model chair and their features and measurements. Made it much easier to narrow it down to what model we wanted. Also, it looks like you can purchase replacement parts from the manufacture as well...bonus for that!

I had my wheelchair less than a week when the rubber came off one of the wheels on the back while riding in the car. I recalled that if you were going to return this item you should return it to the company, so I called the company and they seemed put out by my calling them, but they finally agreed to help. I know this product is usually a good name.

Trouble getting help!

I am highly pleased with this This Drive Medical Cruiser III Light Weight Wheelchair It outperforms it's advertisement. It arrived fully assembled. All I had to attach was the leg rests. Honestly, I was amazed! This is the lightest wheelchair that I've ever encountered. I weigh 240 lbs and am wide in the hips, so the 20 in wide seat is soooooo comfortable. I am 68 years old with an open fracture in my left leg and I can easily lift in and out of my car trunk. I highly recommend this wheelchair!

Have Chair Will Travel

so far, the chair hasnt seen much use, but has served its purpose well.  my mother has dementia and we needed something to help her exercise, but still have an easy way to get her home when she gets tired and cant walk anymore.  easy to put together out of the box, with a clear instruction manual.  love that the chair came in several different width sizes, so we could choose a chair that seemed fitted just for her hip width.  the chair seems very sturdy.  it is a bit heavy to fold and lift into the car, but thats ok, as it tells me it wont fall apart while mom is sitting in it.   we did have to make an adjustment to the brake lever, as it was so close to the wheel, that we couldnt engage the brake.  it was very common sense on how to adjust it, even though that was supposed to be a factory setting.  so far, it has rolled on our concrete street, and the tires are holding up well.  I like that this brand has plenty of accessory items that can be bought separately. i dont think my elderly father could lift the chair into the car by himself, so that is something to keep in mind if it is being purchased for elderly people.  the chair lifts in the middle of the seat to fold in half the width.  it fits snugly in the back of a Trailblazer SUV.  I doubt it would fit into a regular car, unless it has a very very large trunk.  so far, we have no complaints.

This wheelchair works nicely. It is in good shape. All the pieces fit well together. Also, it was delivered a day sooner than I asked for it. I had rented the same chair  previously from an unnamed organization and they charged me this amount each month.

Best Purchase

Looks good, until you look closer and see all the plastic parts! If you lean on the arms the front latches come undone! At about a week in with little usage the hand rail on the left wheel is coming lose already. It is a cheap price for a cheap chair. I got it for the 375 pound capacity, it might be ok for a small person but the plastic will not handle the heavier person!

Cheap price, cheap wheelchair!

Two days after receiving the right are became lose . Arm became real lose after about a month . It never did fall off and I had it for 3 1/2 months now .
The seat has tore at the bolts in 2 places on the right side . It only has 4 bolts to hold that side up so it became a problem. I had to order a replacement seat and it’s only been 3 months in the wheelchair. 
Thank goodness I had a second wheelchair which I had been using . It is not a drive model .

It does not give the leg rest dimension of 21.5 inches anywhere. if you are over 5 foot five the elevated leg rests will not fit you. when contacting the manufacturer they said you have to buy articulating leg rests for longer legs. these are an additional $100. So, I am returning, buying the cheapest one they have and the articulating ones to solve the problem. too bad customer service at the manufacturer couldn't even tell me which chairs the new foot rests will fit, so I had to guess based on pictures. major hassle to get it back to the store for a return, and hope I don't have to do the same again. easy enough to be clearer in their descriptions.
