At 17 gram level, I was able to buy this over the counter. When I used this at Mayo Clinic in a much larger dose, the doctor needed to give me a prescription.

I don&#39;t know about &quot;polyethynol&quot; but polyethylene glycol is right here in front of you for sale on Walmart without a prescription so I guess that should answer your question.

i use this every day and just opened a new bottle . it was just like all the others . no problems.

I use it every night and I&#39;ve never had any taste at all...NONE. If yours tastes fishy, I&#39;d say you&#39;ve got something fishy going on there.

Why does Clearlax now have a fishy taste?

The best buy date should be located on the label on the back side of the product.

By looking on the back of the bottle. My expiration date is in the lower right hand corner. Obviously you&#39;d have to have the bottle in front of you. You can&#39;t check expiration dates in advance of purchase.

My doctor said that it was fine to take twice a day.  I definitely don't want extra weight because of a slow digestive system.  Go, (uncomfortably at that,) every 3 days 🥴 Not with Miralax. 👍.  I can actually eat bananas now.  😋. Not before Miralax.

A life saver

I have been using this product a couple months now and I do appreciate the results. (It does say on the bottle not to use it more than (7?) days in a row).
I often ..notice the results before I finish the whole large cup it's in. 

It is an easy-to-mix powder and dissolves quickly and smoothly. 

There is no sugar and no aspertame in the ingredients which is fantastic and seems hard to find. 

There have been no issues with being backed up since I have been using this powder! 


I have not noticed a taste but I do mix it with a couple other powders I take in the morning.

Does the job

My doctor first proscribed this to me. This product gathers all your water and puts it in your intestines. So you have to drink a good deal of water. It is only for occasional use i would ask a doctor before taking it everyday.  I also like that they have this larger size.

Not for everyday use but good product

works the same as name brand miralax without paying the higher cost of a product that has the same product information.
