This is is the 2nd one Ive gotten of this same pole.  I had an issue with the bearing that may have been caused by the pole not being straight, but I figured, with as great as the customer service was with Yacheetech, and the price for what I was getting, I was willing to give it another chance.  Im glad I did!  This model has the easy change ring to go from spinning to static mode.  It does not require a separate tool to loosen or tighten a screw for it.  You just lift or drop it down lined up with a pin underneath.  The top dome is a large enough diameter to remain steady and has a thick silicone ring to prevent damage to your ceiling.  I installed mine on a popcorn ceiling and have had no issues with it at all.  The base is quite small, which I live, because I dont step on it.  Its super easy to put up and take down.  You adjust the height from the bottom.  Theres a collar that fits over the very bottom, that you loosen with three screws, and turn the pole to move it and get it the snugness you need.  I did jot have to stand on a chair, with the exception of putting the dome on the top initially.  I was able to put it up and take it down all by myself without needing another person.  The chrome is smooth and nicely finished.  The pole does have a small amount of play in the center joint if you pull it back and forth with force, but its jot so bad that it compromises the function of the pole at all.  I highly recommend this one.  For the price, its a great value.

Adjustable to different height for ceilings after a few tries it wasnt too bad putting together

Amazing! It holds my chunky dunk. I did have to sand the ceiling because it has the little popcorn type chunks on it and I wanted to make sure the pole had a flat surface to hold on to. Then because it is carpeted, I went to home depot and in the lumber section I found a small circular like half inch piece of wood. Like a bedside table top size and type piece of wood. It was cheap. Less than $10 I believe. Then to ensure it doesnt slide, I got a big roll of double sided carpet tape in the aisle the rugs and carpet are in. That stuff is crazy strong! ?? but this pole isn't going anywhere. It's seriously amazing. BUY IT!!!

SUPER STURDY!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This is a great pole! It was easy to assemble. I wouldnt say it was hard to install but it did take me a few tries to install it. Now its up and sturdy. I would suggest the company has a more up-to-date video or instructions for installation. It is easy to transition from static to spin pole but the lock sometimes comes up on its own. I do believe that the screw that fits inside of the lock hole should be a little longer so the lock doesnt come up on its own.

First pole, great choice!

I watched a YouTube video on how to install this pole. I had to realize that it was a extra extension inside the first long pole from he floor up, that screws out until it reaches its full length, from the ceiling to the floor. Take out the screw from the bottom part that attaches to the X and your pole should spend. I love it. Another form of without for me and very therapeutic ??

Love this pole actually not too expensive compared to my last pole much improvement for everything is metal no plastic pieces for adjustment which is extremely important as well as static and spinning however I did notice the peace that keeps the pool from spinning doesnt work very well so it tends to come loose

The pole does not spin. The instructions are terribly written and skipping steps. One of the reasons for such purely written instructions, is that in the beginning, the parts are listed as numbers or alphabetically ( no name,) then throughout the rest of the instructions, the parts named, but with everything looking similar, you now dont know what's part A, 1, 3, etc. I gave 3 stars because it was cheap priced, and I suppose you get what you pay for

Doesn't Spin

I used the pole for not even a day.. (mind you I'm 135 pounds) and the pole was bending sideways & making a loud clicking noise. The pole was resisting my spins.I managed to get the pole down, but not gonna lie it was stuck for a good 30 minutes. The bottom piece that sits at the base of the pole somehow detached. I made a request to just get another one back, but I got a refund instead. I did get a reorder on it.. but apparently UPS has no matching tracking number to the one the company gave me. I really recommend NOT buying from this company. like yikes.

Absolutely ridiculous directions, but it was pretty easy to install, thank god for having the dome piece to the other yaheetech pole because this one is just junk. I had to figure out a way to put it together with the older model done piece because as I was a rewinding the one that came with this pole the baring in the middle flung out and the dome popped right off and almost hit my friend in the face. So careful with it lol. I mean you do get what you pay for but come on, make it useable atleast, Id like to be able to do more things than JUST a layback on the thing.
